There is Stunning Inle Lake region with its  tranquil clear waters on the Shan Plateau.

Much of Myanmar’s country lies between the Tropic of Cancer and the Equator. The Southern area is hot and humid all year round with the temperature ranging between 19 to 35 degrees Celsius. The northern mountainous area is the coolest, with average temperatures of 21 degrees Celsius. The coastal and delta regions have an average temperature of 32 degree Celsius. The best time to travel is between the months of August and April. Sun screen is recommended. Also bring some warm clothing as it gets cool in the evening and early morning.

The local currency is the Kyat,  (pronounced chat).  1USD is equal to 800 Kyat (approximately) which is the only foreign currency accepted in Myanmar. There are no ATM’s available and credit cards are rarely used.
