Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. You must not make any booking unless you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions as with the terms and conditions of the third party suppliers, will apply to any product or services purchased through us, either fully or in part.
Burma Travel Australia, here after referred to as: BTA. Although we make every effort to ensure our tours match the description in our brochure, this brochure should be used as a guide.
Bookings/ Deposits and Paying:
A deposit of $500.00 is payable within 7 days of booking and is non refundable. The payment of a deposit allows BTA to book and hold a reservation for you but does not guarantee the price will not change. All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. The price is only guaranteed when paid in full and all other documentation has been issued. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change. Price changes may occur by reason of matters outside our control which increase the cost of the product or
Cancellation by the customer must be made in writing to BTA and the following cancellation charges will apply from the date received. 45 days or more from the date of departure will incur a loss of deposit plus any administration fees. 40 to 31 days will incur a loss of 30% of the cost of the tour. 30 days or less will incur a loss of 100% of the cost of the tour. In the case of: no show will incur a loss of 100% of the cost of the tour.

Limit Of Liability:
BTA does not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract tort or otherwise, for the act omissions or default whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control and which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.
All bookings must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to departure, failure to do so will incur a
BTA co-ordinate tours and are not responsible for organising the Hotel accommodation, transportation, and sightseeing. We do not own, operate or control any of the services. All tickets, services, coupons are issued subject to the conditions specified by the third party tour operator and are subject to the laws of the country the services are provided. BTA acts only as an agent for the owners and suppliers of the services and have no responsibility for loss, damage or theft of property or any injury or death arising from accidents over which BTA have no control.
You will not be issued with Travel documentation until we have received full payment for your holiday. It is your responsibility to ensure that all details of your travel documents are correct, it is also your responsibility to bring to our attention any details any discrepancies, as soon as possible and no later than 7 days after you receive your travel documents.

All details within this brochure are correct at the time of printing and are subject to currency fluctuations and changes without notice, Prices are based on low season departures and seasonal surcharges may apply.
If any dispute arises in relation to the agreement between you and us, the laws of Australia will apply. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia and waive any right that you may have to an action being brought in those courts.

Passport, Visa and Immigration:
Passports must have at least 6 months validity from date of return to Australia, If you are unsure of your responsibilities, please ask your booking agent at BTA. A valid visa is required to enter Burma (Myanmar) and must be obtained a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your departure date. BTA will assist with Visa applications can be obtained on our website at: www.burmatravel.com.au or from the Myanmar Embassy in Canberra. A fee of $35.00 is currently required for a Tourist visa which may be subject to change.
If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform your third party tour operator in the first instance, should they be unable to resolve the matter, contact BTA by email on: www.burmatravel.com.au
Taxes and other charges may apply in overseas countries, unless otherwise stated, these taxes are not included as part of our fees. Taxes/duties may require payment in overseas currency at the time of departure and are subject to change beyond our control.
It is of vital importance you obtain travel insurance, we and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade strongly recommend you take out adequate insurance during the time you are travelling. We can arrange travel insurance for you on request from our website: www.burmatravel.com.au
